There are two types of reinforcement frames in terms of shape: flat and spatial.

Flat reinforcing mesh is a popular product on the market, one of the most popular reinforcing materials. It is a welded structure made of reinforcing bars and corrugated wire. Thanks to the reinforcing mesh, the concrete structure becomes monolithic, which allows it to withstand significant loads, including tension during bending.

There is a light mesh made of reinforcing bars with a diameter of 4 mm. up to 12 mm., and a heavy mesh – from rods with a diameter of 12 mm or more. – 40 mm. The diameter of the cells can be from 50 to 250 mm. According to the placement of the mesh rods, they are divided into reinforcing frames with unidirectional working reinforcement located in the longitudinal or cross section; and frames from the working armature, which is located in two directions.

Spatial reinforcing frames are reinforcing two-dimensional lattices, which, due to their perpendicular arrangement to each other, form a three-dimensional structure. In some cases, lattices can be placed at an angle to each other, thus forming a polyhedron. These designs, depending on the manufacturing method and degree of strength, are divided into several subspecies. According to the principle of connecting the belts with their connecting element (lattice rods, clamps, etc.), they can be divided as follows: welded frames made by contact welding and knitted frames made by wire binding. Volumetric or spatial frameworks made of reinforcement are a complex three-dimensional structure that is indispensable when pouring massive reinforced concrete monoliths or manufacturing reinforced concrete products. This product is used for reinforcing linear and planar structures, for example: foundations, beams and ceilings, load-bearing walls, door and window openings. In most cases, the product has a rectangular cross-section, but it can also have a triangular or even more complex cross-section. There are: for slabs, tape, pile frames.

The pile frame is a separate direction, it is made on automatic equipment and is a strong cylindrical structure of the frame, formed by winding reinforcement in a spiral around the rods, namely: on longitudinal, grooved rods fixed in a circle, the reinforcing wire is wound in a spiral and welded at the same time. The width of the circle can be from 200 mm to 1 meter. The diameter of the rods of the reinforcing frame and the transverse wire in a spiral, the size of the cell is calculated individually and depends on the load on the foundation.
